I just wanted to let anyone know that if you are planning on purchasing a vehicle in Lawton make sure you DON'T buy from Aubrey. They will screw you and not think twice. We just got screwed by them and will make it my personal mission to make sure they don't screw anyone I know, and try to inform as many people as possible that I don't know. After screwing us they have the nerve to send us a card asking us to refer people to them. That will never happen and the guy has major issues if he thinks it will.

mommyof2 --- 192 days ago -

what happened?

Sharon --- 192 days ago -

I have heard that too, and they really push the military Miles program which is not that great of a program in the first place unless you have absolutely no other options.

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 192 days ago -

What is the military miles program? Thanks

mommyof2 --- 192 days ago -

the miles program is if you are military, they can set you up with a vehicle that has the right amount of miles for the year it was made. we just bought a kia rio from a dealership in wichita falls, 2007 with 18,000 miles on it. in a lot of situations it works out great because you aren't getting screwed over on a vehicle that has a lot of miles. sorry if that didn't make any sense...running on 4 hours of sleep! lol. but it's only for military, civilians don't qualify for it.

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 192 days ago -

Oh I never heard of that. We just brought a used car but we checked the miles ourselves on the vehicles and didnt even look at anything that had made more than 15k in one year. which still is a lot but is average. Id ont understand why that would only be for military because you can always decide that a vehicle has too many miles and just not buy it..or maybe I just dont understand the significance. But you know of all the dealerships we went through here in lawton not one person ever mentioned that program to us, ever. Well Im gald you got a vehicle with such low miles you are right you can get screwed if you buy a 2007 or 2008 vehicle with about 50,000 miles. I guess in retrospect its a good program.. Thanks for the info I really appreciate it. If they wouldve have mentioned that you us it wouldve saved me a lot of time of always calculating the miles on my own.

We bought a truck from them and 4 days later the window motor/regulator went out. When we talked to them they weren't willing at all to work with us on the repair. It wasn't something that was covered by a warranty, but in the past when I have purchased used vehicles if anything goes wrong within a week the dealers will help you to get it fixed. I didn't want them to do it for free, but maybe split the cost or something. Instead they told us there was nothing they could do. I have worked in customer service in the auto industry and one thing I know is that they could have been more helpful had they wanted to. They just didn't care because the truck was already sold. Needless to say we didn't give them the satisfaction of getting more of our money, so we took it do another dealer who was shocked to hear what happened. The whole experience with them was not great to begin with and the only reason we did business there is my husband really liked the truck and I wanted him to be happy. We had searched for a long time, and when he found it he immediately liked it, and other than the window problem it is a great truck. I just don't like the fact that they are the type of dealer that don't care about the customer once the deal is done. I am not used to that, I mean I just got an e-mail from the dealer I bought my car from last year asking me if everything was still ok with it. Oh, and then to send me business cards in the mail wanting me to refer people just added insult to injury. I would not send anyone somewhere I was not completely satisfied, and surely wouldn't want to refer someone there and they have a similar problem. Sorry if that came out all jumbled up :)

Uncle Sam's Cars is another place you'd get screwd. We bought a car from them when we moved here a few months ago and the car broke down two days after we bought it. We got that fix and now, about six months later, it broke down again and it'd cost almost 3 grand to fix it. When we went to buy the car, the girl that works there, Emma, told us that she had put almost 2 grand fixing the car to sell it. That was bullsh!t. That car was a piece of crap. Also, they have this trick they use if you make them an offer she's always calling "the boss" which is her dad, to talk to him. His dad has really no say in the place; is her mom who makes all the decisions. Emma would tell you that they buy cars back all the time, then the mom would tell you right on your face that she only wants your cash. Uncle Sam's cars are over priced and not worth the money. If you buy a car from this place they only garantee you'd get is that your car will break down and you will spend a lot of money fixing it because they don't. You can see the profile on sill yard sales and see how overpriced the stuff if. Her profile is the one with Betty Boop

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 191 days ago -

I just went to sillbookoo to look for betty boop and theres no account with that name... unless I looked incorrectly.

smiley --- 191 days ago -

look under the autos and you will see her listing cars that way. I feel bad for the salesman at Aubrey though, because he himself was a good salesman. He actually tried very hard to get Aubrey to help with the repair and they didn't even listen to him. Now because his supervisor has a total lack of customer service skills he has to pay the price by me not referring anyone to him just because of a problem that was easy for them to help with. If the salesman ever goes to another dealership I would buy from him, just not Aubrey. I went today and talked to the owner and made it clear that it was not his salesperson that screwed up, but his manager.

smiley --- 191 days ago -

Uncle Sam's Etc. the picture they have under the name is Betty Boop.

Amber --- 191 days ago -

Yeah I have heard Aubrey isn't very ppl friendly. Battison in Duncan is the same way. That is where I bought my car and they let me drive off the lot with my car without even doing the QC/changing the oil/ or with a paper tag in the window. I hate Battison and will NEVER buy a car from them again!

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 191 days ago -

oh yeah I just saw the. Wow over 3,000 for cars over a deacade old. We just got a 1998 honda accord for $1,000 and it looks good and drives well. If Im buying an old hoopty then I want to pay hoopty price you know. for $4,000 i can buy a newer model car possibly with less miles.

MaryJane --- 191 days ago -

I told you! You realy wouldn't want to buy a car from them.

Sharon --- 190 days ago -

The miles program also requires you carry GAP insurance(if you smash the car your insurance only really covers the blue book) and it is an extra added cost, interest rates suck, the one good thing is it is a start over kind of program and you can refi the car in 6 months at lower interest. For us it was way better to go through our bank, we got 7 1/2% lower on interest which is huge in monthly payments and we got a much new model at a lower monthly payment. We went to Dan Mullins Nissan and they have been wonderful. I bought our last van from teh Hyundai dealer out on 82nd and they were awesome too. We have bought vehicles that were still covered under warranty so we got good service. Hyundai actually has loaner cars if your car will be in overnight or for a acouple days. Makes it so much easier to live a normal life while waiting for your repairs to be done. Only reason we did not buy a new Hyundai van this year is they dont make them anymore, so went back to Nissan

UNCLE SAM'S CARS is a G-R-E-A-T place to purchase a vehicle!! I just bought a car from them less than two months ago and it is perfect!! I don't understand why anyone would talk bad about that place! That just irritates me that they would slander them like that!! I would like people to go all over Lawton to every car lot and then compare it to Uncle Sam's Cars. They are the nicest car lot in Lawton. THEY ARE NOT OVER PRICED!! Compare their prices to all the other car lots and you will find yourself saving thousands of dollars! If you buy a $900 car, don't expect it to drive like a $9000 car. I don't get that about people. I bet what MaryJane (which FYI means WEED, which is illegal) bought a $1000 car and did something to it and then blamed Uncle Sam's Cars. Ask anyone, everyone I have spoken to on base about the car lot LOVES them. They don't charge processing fees, taxes, or any other fees that all the other car lots add in at the very last minute. MaryJane and smiley are obviously lame and do NOT know what they are talking about. There is not a better car lot in Lawton then Uncle Sam's Cars, I guarentee it!! I am going to buy another car from them next month and I know I will love it too!! Just go to the other car lots to compare it yourself! And Emma was a great salesman! I trust her a lot more then I would ever trust FAT RANDY's, Vanhoozer's, TED's car lots anyday! She was a sweetheart!

MaryJane --- 188 days ago -

ROFLMAO!!! Wow, I have never met anyone so passionate about any business in my entire life! Either you are getting paid to be the spokesperson or...ummm...I don't know...you work for them! I'm glad this irritates you; if the place was so G-R-E-A-T, its reputation would speak for itself and it wouldn't need a night in shinny armor like you to defend it; that is not the case here. Their cars are overpriced compared to what other dealers in town offer. You may save thousands of dollars by buying a car from this lot, but then, you would spend thousands of dollars in repairs for the same car, which would be worse. The people at this lots are liars and don't have any business ethics. If I trust you enough to buy a car from you; the least I would expect from you is to tell me the truth about the condition of the car. Selling something "as-is" means that you must tell the buyer the condition in which the item, in this case, vehicle is in. If the buyer, having knowledge of the condition of the item, agrees to buy it then that is the buyer's prerogative. That's called honesty; these people don't have that. Therefore, if I buy a $4000 car, which is what I paid for the car I bought from them, I don't expect the car to break down the next day. They had told me that they had spent over three thousand dollars fixing the car to get it ready for sale; that was a lie. When I took the car to the shop; the mechanic advised us to junk it because the repairs were going to be too expensive. You want another proof that they lie? In one of their ads on sill bookoo, they're selling a car that needs repair and they say they are selling it like that because they don't have a mechanic. Then, in another ad, someone is claiming that they have a "guru" for mechanic. Which one is it; do you have a mechanic or not? They don't charge all the fees you mention because they don't finance; that's the only reason. Nothing special about that as other lots do it too. And FYI, I'm glad you are the second moron to see the joke in my screen name. Everyone knows weed is illegal; there is no need for you to state the obvious attempting to be smart. It's nice to see how familiar you are with its different names. I could care less about what you think; I know what I'm talking about.

mommyof2 --- 188 days ago -

wow, it's kinda obvious that applepie is the chick from uncle sam's. thanks for the laugh, applepie!

MaryJane --- 188 days ago -

I know right! I don't think anyone would defend any business like that unless they'd get paid for it.

mommyof2 --- 188 days ago -

lol yeah...it's like when you go to a review's website for an apartment complex and they make it sooo obvious that they are a manager there...lol

smiley --- 188 days ago -

Apple pie screwball, READ the whole post you moron. First off, I didn't bad mouth the lemon lot you call a car dealership (I did just now) to clear that up. I simply advised the other person asking where she could find it on Bookoo, and guess what she did and agrees the prices are too high. I started the thread about Aubrey Chevrolet READ in full next time. Also it doesn't matter what you spent on the car, the point is the company (both of them) lied and screwed their customers. I had no opinion on Uncle Sam's, however with your idiotic mega defense you shot off it seems like you either work for them or screw one of them, so NOW my opinion of them is not a good one. Now go do your American Pie apple screwing tricks, get off your LAME rear end and grasp the concept that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and as consumers we are also entitled to warn others about places we have been screwed over by.

I too bought my car from aubrey chevrolet and will not go back to that place! I love my car but the window motor quit working that night and they wouldnt fix it. They told me we had to take it to duncan to a chrysler dealer. then when we bought it they failed to mention that out tt&l wasnt included in the purchase. so we had to come up with around 300$ after the fact. We used the miles program and love it. I really think if you are military it is a good program to check in to. but thats just my opinion.

WOW its very obvious. I mean y ou cant bethat passionate about a car lot, that you go and open a sillunderground account just to defend this car lot. She muct work there hell shes probably the one posting all thevehicles on sillbookoo. I mean I just bought a new car..a toyota by the way and I love it but I dont go on public forums talking about how great the company serviced me or calling people lame because they have a different opinion then mine. Your cars are way over priced and they are junks. I would also like to know do you or do you not have a mechanic or do you just have one when its convenient for a sale.. you know when you lie and say your GURU mechanic worked on the car.

laura --- 187 days ago -

AUBREY CHEVEROLET told me i had to crawl before i could walk because i wanted to buy a new car ( this was like 5 yrs ago ) guess they dont like money from 20yr olds so i went to milo gordon and seen Cynthia she is the best car person i will ever go to in fact when she left to another lot i followed her there and we ended up buying 2 brand new cars from her for me in the past 5 yrs we went somewhere else to get hubbys trucks but we wont go back sticking w her where ever she goes right now at milo gordon again she is the best and will make sure u dont get taken advantage of laura

Brandy --- 187 days ago -

John Holt in Chickasha is a pretty good dealership and friendly too. We bought two cars, paying one in full and they were willing to work with us on prices to get the sale. They've fixed everything we've asked them to fix. They're awesome.

Sharon --- 186 days ago -

that is funny that the apple pie lady thinks this place is so great, I do agree that it is probably the same person who posts the ads. anyway, when you buy a car, it is not the dealer that charges you the tax silly, it is the state and you pay that at the tag agency, so of course they dont screw their customers with tax title or license. And how do you know all the other lots in town if you dont work for one of them. I have bought a couple cars here in Lawton now, and have shopped around quite a bit in person and on the internet and could not have named them all.
