My positive for the day. Today we FINALLY got to take our 9mo old to the hospital to get blood drawn & a chest X~ray!! She has had a chronic cough for 5mo!!! It was a HORRIBLE day for us to see her in pain like that & whats worse we had to hold her down while they did it!! BUT FINALLY the NEW DR is taking a different path & doing tests instead of just throwing meds at her like the old one!!

Wow 5mon? That's crazy My positave thoughts for today my dogs finally feeling better its been almost 24 hours since he had a fever. I finally have a day off so im spending it with the kids

texas child you want to check for asthma my little boy was constantly sick coughing so much he would throw up all the time couldnt figure out what was wrong he seen the dr more then 60times before he was 10mos (they gave us a nebuliser and meds but said if he gets worse bring him back)finally i took him in and his dr was gone that day seen dr solitario (greatplains peds in ccmh) she realised something was wrong his oxygen was at a 76 ( supposed to be a 93-95or higher) they gave him a breathing treatment his oxygen went to a 82 sent us out side in dec. for 30mins then went back it dropped down to a 73 so they admitted him she keep up with him ( even though he wasnt her patient and she was on vacation both she his dr keep calling, checking on him he was in the hospital for over 12 days. finally they found the right amount of meds to help him he is on abutural flovent 110 and (singular when his allergies start up) i have to watch him close because at the sign of anything i have to up his meds to every 4 hours ( breathing treatment) I was told that babies under a year couldnt have asthma but they can they just dont like to diagnos them w it so keep on the drs and go w ur gut feeling because i never stepped down if i would have he may not still be here sorry so long but i completely under staind corric cough his started when he was 2-3weeks old and it took till he was 11mos before he was diagnosed laura 

my positive I have a happy crazy super hyper little 2yr old boy that if u didnt know you would never expect him to have asthma laura

Sometimes I feel like a liar because she will be SO bad & then wake up the morn of her appt & be PERFECTLY fine!! I will def suggest asthma & a brwathing treatment when we go back in a week!! She is also super small & sleeps a LOT, I wonder if whatever she has, has anything to do w/ that??

my positive today is i just went and bought some great ribbon and got organize all my bow stuff now on to the sewing stuff lol should have four purses done tomorrow so that should be my positive of sunday laura 

i made an Ou purse so cute my second mom is going to love it now if i could just get motivated to make all the rest lol oh yeah today/tomorrow (i have been to bed yet lol)is my bday im like a kid i love kiddie bday parties so one of my friiends is coming over and the kids are haveing a party for my bday so much fun laura 

positive of the day i had brunch w a really good friend at ABC and she paid lol ( it was for my bday ) she's got a little girl same age as my boy so they were real good just having staring contest and makeing silly faces at each other laura 

my positive of the day is that after my c-section a lot of ladies throughout my company and battalion have come together and made meals for my family and i! we are so blessed to have such great friends and support here!

My positive of the day is all of the nice and caring people that I've read about on this site. It is great to see people with such big hearts! I hope you all keep coming back to this site to post, ask opinions, etc., because we need more positives on this sight!!!! (to out way the negatives of course.) 

Right now I am trying to think positively that the family who lost their yorkie will get the dog back. I sure hope someone honest finds her and returns her. 

My positive thought for today is my dog is finally 110% better no more fever no more heavy breathing and almost no more ear infection.... 

WOW that is so nice that the ladies throughout your company and battalion got together like that. I love it when I see people helping people. Were they all your friends that hleped or some strangers as well. My positive for the day is we had a test yesterday in our business class and I got an 88%. I was so stressed out thinking that I didnt get to study enough and I actually did well. Not a 100 of course but close enough :-) 

they are all frg leaders throughout the unit, but i only just met 3 of them in december and 1 of them last month! 

My positive for the day. I took my 3yr old to the DR & they said she needed a blood test to check for lead & her hemoglobin. So as we drove to DLO to meet the would be blood suckers. I was trying to imagine how we were going to restrain my very lanky, VERY aware for her age 3yr old while they perfomed the task! When we got there my daughter asked "What those ladies gonna do?" So I told her she was gonna get a pinch(that's what she calls a shot) She informed me she did'nt want a pinch in a very calm voice. Just as I was about to make a run for the door w/ 3yr old in hand the nurse informed us that she would only need to stick her finger!! My Lillie did SO good!! Not a tear, not a fit, nothin!! Although she was mean muggin the lady the ENTIRE time!! So my positive. I have an AWESOME kid!! 

Positive thought...it's Friday, its been a hectic week at the hospital with ppl being sick and being short handed...im looking forward to going home today and starting my weekend early. then this weekend, my daughter and I are going to "clean" out her closet. it's amazing how much stuff ur child can accumulate. i went through her toys last weekend and i'm like...oh, thats where all my pens went! this weekend, its the clothes...*sigh* everyone have a great great Friday and an even better weekend! 

Hand sanitizer!!! I was in the bathroom @ WalMart today and while I was in there 3 ladies came in, peed & left...WITHOUT WASHING THEIR HANDS!!! OMG!! Then they are out there touching stuff!! I spray my kids & my own hands w/ sanitizer EVERYTIME we leave WalMart!! This is why!! 

wow so glad to hear so much positive w/ everyone i got my new comp in and bought some happy bday ribbon before wal mart was out ( ps they are out now) 

I am thankful for MY HUSBAND! We fit together SO well & are in sync w/ our likes, dislikes, beliefs & thoughts. We think the same things at the same time. I am TRULY blessed to have him in my life & I thank God for him everynight. He is the BEST person in my life & he loves me truly. 

i just made a really pretty bow and a great dinner today has been pretty good im still hurting real bad from all the chronic pain but im not letting it slow me down or put a damper on my life

Had a great OB appt today and set up the BIG ultrasound for 3 weeks from now! im so excited! 

congrat on the ob check so glad things are going great my positive is both of my little ones have takin naps today and giving me some time yet i so didnt take advantage for a nap my self lol
